AD Music has regrettably decided against putting on the AD2011 festival previously planned for May 2011 in Derby. The last event in 2008 lost money and despite a good line up, like so many other UK events in recent years, the attendance was poor. Despite a proposed line-up of John Dyson, Air Sculpture, Callisto and Code Indigo for 2011, there have already been complaints about the £35 ticket price. Another consideration is that the weekend is a bank holiday weekend, which is further likely to keep people away.
AD Music is hugely disappointed for the fans that do come to these events, but there just doesn't seem to be the interest anymore to make these medium sized events financially viable in the UK. Clearly, not enough fans are left with enough interest to help revive the live UK electronic music scene to make such events viable. AD will continue to help in any way it can to help promote events like Hampshire Jam and the Awakenings concerts, while David Wright and other AD artists have already confirmed their intent at performing smaller solo events around the UK during 2011.

More information about these releases, including sound bites, can be found on the Code Indigo pages. TheThe band will begin working on a new studio album in 2010. There are no concerts planned for 2010 but expect a brief appearance at e-day in May.
Richard Bone
It is hoped that a "Best of" Richard Bone will appear on AD Music at some point featuring selected works from Richard's extensive back catalogue.
Acheloo - Sirens, Ishtar and Khimaira
Carlo Luzi is Acheloo, an Italian guitarist with three unique and compelling ambient electronic albums of guitar and keyboard textures that are compelling and quite unique. Both his debut Sirens and the follow-up Ishtar are extraordinary examples of high quality ambient electronic music in the best tradition of early Tangerine Dream and Steve Roach. Definitely worth investigating!
Geigertek
New MP3/CDr - The Timeless Mind is now available
UK artist with an superb debut featuring piano, sequencing and synths - nice melodic EM in true AD style and getting great reaction from outlets like Cue Records and CDS. Geigertek performed a successful concert recently in the UK with David Wright and is an act to watch!
Wim - The White Peak
Great sounding synthesist from Norway with an original style that for reference, is similar to Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, David Wright & Robert Fox, but with more sequences. The track "Econ Theme" has just features on a major European sampler. The album is proving a hit with fans of AD Music. Check out the Wim page for more details.
Dhyanam - Deep Embrace
Dhyanam is an American artist living in The Netherlands with a style of music that falls into the melodic and romantic, but with a more classical, new age edge. Beautiful music that has a lot of style and prompted this quote from Ashley Franklin: "One of the best EM albums I've heard in the last decade". Check out the Dhyanam page for more information.
Enterphase
Although nothing new from our favorite USA duo, please check out their superb "Solar Promenades" CD, probably one of the most under-rated electronic music CDs of recent years.
Ashok Prema - Matter
The last album from Ash remains one of his best. A stunning excursion into Berlin style sequencer music with the added bonus of guitar from Rob Jenkins.
